If you truly get in touch with a piece of carrot, you get in touch with the soil, the rain, the sunshine. You get in touch with Mother Earth and eating in such a way, you feel in touch with true life, your roots, and that is meditation. If we chew every morsel of our food in that way we become grateful and when you are grateful, you are happy.

Hi Kurt,

My church hymnal has the lyrics a bit different, and correct, I think... I noticed the lyrics you had missed a few words.

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee
holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty
God in three persons, blessed Trinity

Holy, holy, holy, All the saints adore thee
casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea
cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee
Which wert, and art, and evermore shalt be

Holy, holy, holy, though the darkness hide thee
though the eye made blind by sin thy glory may not see
only thou art holy, there is none beside thee
perfect in power, in love, and purity

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God almighty
All thy works shall praise thy name in earth and sky and sea
holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty
God in three persons, blessed Trinity
